We make up more than half the population in India. Yet what do we- the quarter final babies of the twentieth century- give to the world? We were born before the smart phones yet we are it's dependants. But what are we actually doing in this present scenario? Our leaders claim that India is going to be a "super power" by 2020. Who knows. But what we fail to notice and realize is that we- meaning you, me, us- are the leaders of the future, the ones to make our forefathers' dream a reality. This doesn't mean that we have to give up everything we ever dreamed and put on the shoes of a politician (or a state engineer or whatever you can call it). It simply means that the situation demands us to do something about it.
We, youth, are known for our high spirit and enthusiasm. But none of this comes out for the right cause. We waste our valuable time and money for the most irrelevant stuffs. If we put our littlest effort into the smallest things around us, it can amount to a larger change in the society. Like someone said the other day, God's miracles here on earth are done not by the walking on water or turning the water to wine, but through the simple deeds of a simple man.
I think we can change this world. No, we are the ones who can change the world. Who knows who the future Indian Prime minister might be.
